For those that love the thrill of organising a product launch but also have the special skills involved in planning a more personal event such as a wedding then this Diploma will allow you to combine both skills. Upon completion you will be a Certified Wedding and Event Consultant.

Currently the course is offered by Distance Learning and E Learning and upon enrolment you will receive access to our Virtual Campus allowing you to chat to your tutors online, jump on the student forum, delve into the library of Podcasts and videos and check out the Job Board.
The course is completely self-contained and will give you a defined career path at the end of it. Our tutors will be by your side every step of the way and through our Virtual Campus you will feel as though you have attended class without the hassle of ever having to leave the comfort of your own home.
Course Details
Do you have a genuine love of weddings and events, and a passion for the glitter, excitement, and romance that goes with them? Do you get a buzz from organisation?
Can you move at the speed of light and multi task at the same time? Do you have the patience of a saint, the skin of an alligator and the soul of an artist? If so, then this could be the career for you.
From when a client first approaches you with their wedding or event date to helping them create and plan a first class event, you will experience firsthand the demands and requirements that come with being a Planner within the events industry. You will also have the option to include training and a 3 month all access license to Australia’s only web based wedding and event planning software as part of your course materials. This will then be incorporated within your course assignments.
Your course will include 25 assignments, 14 of which are based on authentic wedding briefs and 9 on corporate event briefs. These assignments will lead you through every stage of planning a wedding or event. You will be expected to treat your tutor as your client and the assignments you submit as your proposal. Effectively you are building yourself a portfolio as you make your way through the course, allowing you to hit the ground running upon graduation. The last two assignments in the course focus on starting your own business and gaining employment within the industry.
The Diploma of Wedding and Event Planning is the most hands-on and comprehensive course available in Australia and it will equip students with the knowledge they need to work as professionals in the Events Industry.
